The East Kameng District has kicked off the 1st Ever East Kameng District Football Premier League-2021 organised by Frendz Zone United Club (FZUC).

On 3rd January, 2021-15th January, 2021 at Seppa General Ground. There were 17 teams participated from various Sports Clubs of East Kameng District, Arunachal Pradesh.
General Secretary Mr. Narba Pangia, FZUC has announced in social media “My name is Narba Pangia, I am the General Secretary of Frendz Zone United Club (FZUC) and from the core heart of the Frendz Zone United Club (FZUC), I am welcoming to all the team participants, general public and most of that, the players who have come from outside at Seppa General Ground at the 1st Ever East Kameng District Football Premier League 2021 to witness the event and the players by maintaining the discipline, show the spirit of game to the public.
The main motto of organizing the tournament is that we have many good football players in our district those whom did not know and yet to be known by the outsiders. We are organizing this tournament especially to encourage and motivate the players. And lastly, my appeal to the audience football and audience of the East Kameng, please do not discriminate players by elder-brother, by clan-brother. Do not differentiate by clan brother or club members. Do encourage and support to that player who plays the better, to that club who performs the best. This is my appeal to the public. Thank you!”

Through the medium of this Arunchal Today I would like to inform all the football fans of East Kameng District in particular and state has all that Frendz Zone United Club (FZUC) is hosting 1st Ever East Kameng District Football Premier League 2021 here at General Ground Seppa and let you know about the Frendz Zone United Club (FZUC) which is purely comprising of a friendship group. In there, we are organizing this event. We have no motive of making profit and we are purely non-political organization. We have experienced that almost one and half year has gone without any event because of Covid-19. During this period, there were no tournaments organized. For this reason, we are organized the 1st Ever East Kameng District Football Premier League 2021. From the core of my heart, I extend my hearty thanks to the Hon’ble Minister Mr. Mama Natungji, WRD, Sports & Youth Affairs, Forest & Environment, Government of Arunachal Pradesh for accepting our invitation to attend as Chief Guest on the inaugural ceremony on the 3rd January, 2021 and also extend our hearty thanks to Mr. Byabang Taj, Chairman, Sports Authority of Arunachal Pradesh for accepting our invitation as Guest of Honour on the same day. So, 17 participants already reached here and the first batch from the 17 team, an attractive match will be played on 3rd January, 2021. So, I am inviting all the spectators and all the football fans and all the participants on behalf of Frendz Zone United Club (FZUC). In the main gate it was printed as Alabo Woto meaning in English is Welcome. Beside the entrance gate, the flags of 17 teams were erected; it looks like a tournament zone.

At morning, all the team members, general public and invited dignitaries were assembled here at Seppa to witness the grant opening of the 1st Ever East Kameng District Football Premier League-2021. All the players of the team gathered in team-wise in the field to an opening march. All the team members were dressed up with their unique dress-code and marched one by one. Thereafter, an opening dance was performed in Hindi & English Songs by the students of East Kameng, Seppa. The performance was attractive and it senses prognosis of the beginning. Sometimes, it maximizes the intensity of interest.
The field filled with full crowd of game lovers, spectators. In every wall, painted the logo of the participants and the main gallery was painted with the big big letters as FZUC and EKF and sponsors signboards were placed on the boundary line.

3rd Quarter Final
The 3rd quarter final match played here on 12th January, 2021 to qualify for semi final. It played between Abo Bakha FC-vs-Tawa Abo FC. Tawa Abo FC defeated Abo Bakha FC by 4-1 goal.
Shri Birdoi Brahma (Jersey No. 10) has been scored in frolic manner all the four goals of Tawa Abo FC . On the other side, Shri Tadar Lale (Jersey No. 4) of Abo Bakha Football Club scored the only a goal of the match.
4th Quarter Final
In the event of 4th quarter final, the match played between Dang Warrior FC and Bantaram FC where Bantaram FC defeated Dang Warrior FC by 5-4 goals in penalty.

Semi Final
On 13th Janauary, 2021 the 1st Semi Final played between the team Thunder FC and Sawa Sporting Club at around 10:30 am. The team Thunders FC defeated Sawa Sporting Club by 2-1 at General Ground, Seppa on Wednesday.
Shri Hofe Ape and Shri Tsering Sherpa contributed scores for Thunders FC and on the other hand, the lone goal was scored by Shri Tarh Dolu of Sawa Sporting Club.
In 2nd Semi Final between the team Tawa Abo FC and Bantaram Gyadi FC started at around 01:30 pm with the full swing to select in the final list of Final. Every team wants to be the winning team. The final clash was the great, the sports lovers, players and spectators were very excited to get the team selected. After the long fight between the two teams Tawan Abo FC and Bantaram Gyadi FC, the two teams failed to goal to his competitor. After long struggle, in the event of penalty shootout Tawa Abo FC beat the Bantaram Gyadi FC.
At the conclusion of Semi Final, we have got the final team ‘Thunders FC –vs- Tawa Abo FC of 1st Ever East Kameng Football Premier League-2021.
Finale
Here the final historic day was the 15th January, 2021. The Finale of Thunder FC –vs- Tawa Abo FC.

Mr. Baichung Bhutia, the Fomer Indian Footballer was attended in the Final Football match of our 1st Ever East Kameng Football Premier League-2021 as a Special Guest of the great event.

At the mid-final, he personally stepped towards the crowd, communicated, handshaked with the people of spectators and waved his hands to show his love to the sports lovers. He also posed to the public to take photographs.

The Thunders FC team eam lifted the trophy by boosting up the energy of being the 1st winner team of 1st Ever East Kameng Football Premier League-2021.
Mr. Mama Natung, Mr. Baichung Bhutia and Mr. Goruk Pordung have handed over the cheque of Rs. 75,000/-with certificate and Trophy to the Runner-up team Tawa Abo FC. Thereafter, they have offered the Winning Trophy to the Champion Team Thunder FC along with cheque of Rs. 1,50,000/- and certificates.
Thunder FC is newly crowned the Champion of the first Ever East Kameng District Football Premier League 2021 after beating Tawa Abo FC during a highly challenged and contested final match.
The match was decided by penalty shootout because both rival teams played 1-1 draw even after overtime .
