East Kameng District Bar Association office inaugurated by MLA Tapuk Taku
The East Kameng District Bar Association (EKDBA) Office was inaugurated by cutting the ribbon to mark it as the inaugural ceremony at Court Campus of the Chief Judicial Magistrate-cum-Civil Court on 4th November, 2018 at 10:30 am by Mr. Tapuk Taku, Hon'ble MLA, 10th Seppa Assembly Constituency, East Seppa. He invited as the Guest of Honour in this event.

To accommodate the Chief Guest and the other dignitaries, the EKDBA has also installed new chairs, tables and sofa and the windows were covered with bright colourful.
The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Komjum Tasso, Chief Judicial Magistrate, President of EKDBA Mr. Jagu Gyadi, Advocate, Vice-President Mr. Sunil Tara, Mr. Nama Dodum, Mr. Bimon Sonam, Mr. Sunday Lingfa, Court staffs, dignitaries and other advocates.
During the inauguration ceremony of the East Kameng District Bar Association (EKDBA), Mr. Tapuk Taku urged that there is ultimate need to be built a Sessions Court at Seppa Township for greater interest of the people of Seppa, East Kameng District on priority basis. He said that “he will pursue the matter for its establishment at Seppa and in the next financial year he will work on the renovation of the Court.”
The need of Sessions Court at Seppa is genuine, for the reason that the almost all the Court-Goers used to attend the Bomdila District & Sessions Court, it is more or less frequent. It experiences lots of difficulties in attending the District & Sessions Court, Bomdila by mentally and economically.
The EKDBA was established 08 years ago. Over the last 08 years, the cooperation of the Bench and dedication of all the members of the EKDBA had yielded the long pending Office establishment.
A New Client Meeting Room, Chambers for President and Vice-President has also been constructed. Also, a Parking lot has been made for the Members of EKDBA.
The EKDBA will be equipped with smart gadgets and projectors for better understanding and communication with the clients. The Client Meeting Room fully fitted with ceiling Fans and can occupy 25 clients including the Members at a time. The walls of the EKDBA are decorated with various legal posters and pictures on proactive information.
Earlier the East Kameng District Bar Association (EKDBA) on 23rd January, 2014 at Seppa Court Campus was inaugurated by the then Chief Judicial Magistrate-cum-Civil Judge (Senior Judge) Mr. Tageng Padoh in presence of all the advocates of East Kameng District and Court staffs.
On inaugural event Mr. Padoh spoke about the role and relation between the Bench and the Bar. He also reiterated that the advocates should be an honest role model of the society, work to eliminate social evils and social discrimination as social engineer and social reformer. Further, he lay emphasis on maintaining the Rule of Law, the moral values and gives confidence our Indian Judicial system.
The then President of EKDBA Mr. Bimon Sonam urged to the Members of the Bar to shore up him, so the Bar can impart the problems to the Bench and plead the Chief Judicial Magistrate-Cum-Civil Judge (Senior Division) for early disposal of long pending cases.
Mr. Nama Dodum, General Secretary, EKDBA also concentrated on the same point that many cases were pending with the CJM-cum-Civil Court, Seppa for the reason that none participating by the PWs and court-comers.
