Transport facility in Seppa

          The transport communication is the life line of any country without which we cannot utilize our potential and natural resources. Therefore, government is given top priority to road through various agencies to connect the District Administrative Center.

As many as Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) scheme is executed and executing through Rural Works Department (RWD). Nowadays many administrative centers, Circle quarters i.e., Seppa, Seijosa, Pizirang, Pakke Kessang are connected with road, and three roads, i.e., Bameng, Chayangtajo and Khenewa are motor-able and fair-weather road. Now, earth cutting has been happening to connect the adjacent villages and without the assistance of those sorts of works can't be fulfilled.

         The road density of this district is a smaller amount as compared to other parts of the State. Various construction agencies have constructed the road but those roads aren't properly maintained due to constraint of finance and hugely by landslide in rainy season.

         Commuters are using daily services like Tata Sumo, Bus and Tracker. The transport authority connects its communication with the most capital of the state i.e., Itanagar, Tezpur, Bomdila by Bus and Tata Sumo. But who has their own car, no need to worry? they're their own driver. They only ask to God and Goddess “Please safe and save us from landslide and avoid other obstruct situation within the road”. Because road is dangerous in every aspect.

        It's been estimated the Transport department earned revenue a sum of Rs. 42, 73,430/- only as on 31st March, 2014-15. Now it's 2020, it's going to be increased it revenue. There are 8 fleet buses is working and 33 staffs are working under Station Superintendent, Seppa.

      Air service and Railway service aren't yet connected during this region. Arunachal Government takes 5 decades to implement its project and materialize it after 4 decades. The government will pay attention towards the development of this region. Don't think, ot is not connected with railway or air services; it connected Naharlagun railroad station and Airport at Itanagar. We will go anywhere, if you would like to escape from your home. Such facilities are to be availed from neighbor state Assam at a distance of 170 km-200 kms from Seppa Township.
